Recital

Kylie performed in her first recital over the weekend. She did a wonderful job & loved watching the big girls dance.

First/Last Day of Preschool

Kylie completed her first year of preschool at the end of May! She learned some tough lessons this year. I will never forget the fact C & I got called in for a parent teacher conference at the beginning of the year due to hitting. Then there was throwing sand & a snow shovel. What...my kid?! On the other side of the spectrum we loved watching Kylie's face light up when she was showing us her craft for the day or telling us about how Henry got in trouble b/c he squirted his water bottle all over the table. Of course we can't forget about the new songs she learned & performed. Her teacher would always let us know she didn't sit still for story time, but boy did she pay attention during music.

Spring Show

Kylie finished her first year of preschool with a great singing performance. Her class sang quite a few songs during the spring show which included: Wheels on the bus, My God is so great, Take me out to the ball game, Boa constrictor, & Slippery fish. Kylie sang every song & we couldn't have been more proud of her!

Easter 2015

Good Friday Easter Egg Hunt

The snow didn't deter our annual Good Friday egg hunt. We met Stella, Hugo & Nicholas at the park this morning at 10:30. Kylie could have cared less about finding eggs! She preferred playing in the snow which explains why she found 4 and Stella & Nicholas had 15+ eggs. That's our Kylie!

Spring Break 2015

Kylie missed going to preschool during spring break. Every time we buckled up in the car, I would hear her voice from the backseat asking, Are we going to preschool? She did really well on Wednesday while I was on conference calls throughout the day. On Friday I took the day off and we went to Lollipop Park. She rode every ride before deciding on salad for lunch. We went to Sweet Tomatoes and then came home to relax. 

On Sunday we headed to Littleton Museum where Kylie was determined to find the cat. She found her right away before singing Do Re Me to the statue on the bench. When I asked her why the ducks were making a big commotion she said, They're making a lot of noise b/c they know it's my birthday! 

She's been saying the funniest things lately and I try to jot them down so I don't forget. She introduced herself to someone at the park this week & asked the little girl's name in which she replied Shelby. I don't think Kylie has ever heard the name Shelby b/c her response was, Oh Strawberry, right! Just gave me a little chuckle:)
