Christmas 2014

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. Santa pulled through and got Kylie a Christmas candle & star, thank goodness! Some of her other favorite gifts included a music instrument set, harmonica & snow shovel.

Before Christmas break Kylie's preschool class performed 12 songs in front of friends and family. I had high expectations since she did so well during the Halloween parade. Needless to say we sat in the front row waiting with our cameras and Kylie did not sing a single song. She spent most of the time holding onto Mrs Birch. Kate, another little girl in her class, had so much stage freight that she started crying and ran to Mrs Karch.

Winter Update

Kylie ended up not posing for her school picture and clung to her teacher instead. They had a Halloween parade at school where they performed head shoulders knees and toes & bear hunt in front of everyone. Kylie did great! She is such a little performer that one of her teachers nicknamed her little musician. We headed up to Arvada to trick or treat and after about the 2nd house, Kylie ran full speed till the end of the night.

November/December have pretty much been a blur. We have been blessed busy with toffee orders/shows as well as increased responsibilities at work. We did take time to go to breakfast with Santa last Sunday at the club. Kylie enjoyed listening to the carolers, decorating cookies, and sitting on Santa's lap where she asked for a Christmas candle & a star.

This morning we spent some time playing in the snow & put together a gingerbread train. It feels kinda nice to take a breath...
