Channeling Her Inner Kris...with cargos and an REI vest

I have a friend, Kris, who is the total outdoorswoman. She runs, travels, camps and can hike circles around everyone else except her husband Phil. When Kylie was born I used to vicariously live through Kris and her amazing pictures.

6 Month Checkup

I know it's been awhile since the last post so I'll try to get every one up to speed. Since Kylie loved the aquarium so much we purchased a yearly membership which allows us unlimited visits. We have been there 3 times thus far and Kylie still is SILENT for an hour and a half. Chris and I really enjoy the quiet while we are there!
Three weeks ago Kylie began sitting up by herself and now is a pro rolling from her back to her stomach up to her butt. I will try to capture it on video and post by the end of the weekend.
We also started introducing foods at the beginning of Feb: carrots, sweet potatoes, squash, brown rice & chicken, peas, green beans & blueberries. She hasn't really been fond of anything so it looks like we have another picky eater in the family.
We went to the doctor today for her 6 month checkup and everything went well. Our pediatrician calls her a firecracker b/c she's so opinionated and ahead of the curve. She weighed in at 15lbs 8oz (45%), 26.25 inch (65%), and a head circumfrence of 44 (85%).
