The first day was a little rough with 6 accidents in 2 hrs, but after K sat on the potty for 50 min she's been on a roll. I spent most of last Thursday underneath our bar with my laptop working while Kylie sat on the potty. Thank God for my friend Katie who provided me support when I was close to giving up after cleaning the 6th puddle off the floor. We celebrate every time and reward her with a skittle, sticker & 1 bite of ice cream.
We allowed 3 accidents (since that's how many pairs of panties we had), then it was back to diapers until she decided she wanted to try again with no accidents. We had no accidents when she tried again. The candy bribe helps a lot. Sticker charts work well too, especially if you let her pick out her own stickers, then she wants to earn them.
