Happy New Year!

2013 is off to a busy start! (I'm writing this as Kylie is practicing her gardening skills in a potted plant and splashing around in the dog water dish) I have continued to work full time as a senior analyst & teach ballet/tap one day a week. When not at home, we're either working out, dancing, spending time with family or trying to keep Kylie busy. Last year I mentioned one of my goals this year was to visit 25 playdate locations in Colorado. We are off to a good start thus far...pics will be posted in the future.

Kylie likes her new Kindermusik class which can be described as organized chaos. She loves to play the drums & shake the maracas. When Miss Naomi doesn't have the instruments out, Stella and Kylie can be found trying to open the cabinet. I'll try to capture it on tape during our next session. After class we usually get together with Stella in the afternoon. Here's a pic from their last playdate together.

Before I forget, one of my goals this year is to entertain once a month and try out new recipes. I was reminded of this when we went out on Friday night for a nice dinner & I sent both of my dishes back including my fillet. We agreed our expectations are pretty high considering we can make amazing food at home. Here are some of our new favorite recipes:
