Funday

Very rarely do I have Kylie by myself. She's such a Daddy's girl and LOVES to spend time with Chris. They are definitely two peas in a pod. We needed a reset day where we had fun together and didn't worry about school or music. I took a Friday off and we saw Trolls at the theater, went to the Disney/Lego store, and stopped at the SLOWEST Starbucks for pumpkin bread. We both had a really good time and K asked when we could do it again :)

Tea @ The Brown Palace

As part of Christmas this year, I took my mom & Kylie to high tea at the Brown Palace. We sipped on the Christmas blend and snacked on scones, sandwiches and so-so desserts. I think this will be a new tradition for the three of us!

Science Kit

Kylie received a science kit for Christmas from Aunt Anna. It had some cool experiments containing bubbles, colored tablets & fizz (think baking soda volcano's). We did everything in 20min and Kylie asked for more. A hit gift!

Christmas 2016

We stayed in Colorado this year for Christmas. No more Florida for us! We attended Christmas Eve service @ 10am and headed to my parents. We stuffed ourselves with apps & tenderloin before opening gifts, drinking mules and dancing with Alexa. The next morning we opened gifts before Chris' parents & sister came over for a delicious breakfast made up of waffles, potatoes & bacon. Everyone met up later in the day to have Christmas dinner and open gifts as a family. Due to the windy weather, the power went out for ~2 hours at Chris' sister's house. We finished opening gifts via candlelight. I'm sure we will all bring our flashlights next year.

Kylie's best friend in school this year is Greyson. She colored this picture & made a chocolate sleigh to give to him for Christmas. His gift back to her was a picture and cross to put on her backpack.
