Potty Training

The first day was a little rough with 6 accidents in 2 hrs, but after K sat on the potty for 50 min she's been on a roll. I spent most of last Thursday underneath our bar with my laptop working while Kylie sat on the potty. Thank God for my friend Katie who provided me support when I was close to giving up after cleaning the 6th puddle off the floor. We celebrate every time and reward her with a skittle, sticker & 1 bite of ice cream.

Helicopter Ride

I took my dad for a helicopter ride today which was his Christmas gift last year. We took the first flight of the day and it couldn't have been smoother. We circled over the flatirons & CU before returning to the airstrip. Our pilot was a Littleton firefighter who flew for fun on the weekends. We saw some pretty incredible scenery. It was AMAZING! I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Step in Time

Mary Poppins has become quite popular in our house, especially Rooftops of London/Step in Time.We enjoy watching Kylie act it out at least 3 times a day. She begins with marching, followed by poking the TV to form the smoke stairs & ending with a couple somersaults during her finale. I'll try to post a video soon.

I caught a couple of good pics this weekend while I was taking photos of our kitchen. Kylie was in the midst of watching I Love to Conduct! (Little Einsteins/Bald Eagle episode) & using Scout's bone as her baton. 

Carousel Rides

Kylie loves to ride the carousel! Last month we went to Lakeside and rode it for an hour and 20min. Family members kept rotating on & off to keep Kylie happy. On Father's day, my Mom and I took her to Parker Days and rode a bumpy carousel 6 times. I wouldn't consider her a connoisseur at her young age, but I think her favorite is the carousel at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Smooth, speedy, and all the horses to herself.

Our Kitchen is Finally Done!

It took 11 weeks, but our kitchen remodel has been completed.
