RIP Sadie Lady 2008-2014

C rescued her from the pound a month after we got married. No one knew how old this basset/beagle mix was at the time due to her European teeth. Sadie was a great dog who loved us but boy was she needy: peed on rugs/beds, buried her bones in the backyard, humped Scout, awoke us on daily basis, & barked until given treats by C. Isn't it funny how once your pet is gone their quirks are the things you remember and laugh about. We'll always remember her strong points too: she was patient and kind to Kylie since the day she came home & she loved us no matter what. Even though our patience was tested on a daily basis she was part of our family & it was hard saying goodbye yesterday, Wed, June 4, 2014. R.I.P. Sadie Lady (aka "that damn dog.") We will miss you!

Bellview Park

We met Katie & Stella at Bellview Park a few weeks ago & the girls had fun playing in the water, sharing goldfish & running full speed down the hill.

Happy Mother's Day

Our floors got refinished this week so we spent a little time in Arvada. I took Kylie to the train museum and she had more fun playing in the mud puddles than on the trains. Go Figure!

Sprinkler Time

We turned our sprinklers on this weekend and K can't get enough of them. When we got back from the park she ran into the stream of water with her arms out like an airplane and said, I showering!
