Easter

We went to church on Saturday night so we could avoid a meltdown on Sunday. Kylie woke up, found her Easter basket & ate french toast & bacon courtesy of Daddy. She took a long nap and then we headed to the Kriegers for a feast & egg hunt.

Happy Friday

I had Good Friday off which was a nice needed break for me. Kylie and I spent the morning at home & then headed off to play at Stella's. We went to the park and practiced hunting for eggs just in time for Easter. Two hours later they were sharing juice and splashing around in the water. These two are non-stop and constantly keep Katie and I on our toes.

Happy Sunday!

We went to church on Saturday night so we could have a relaxing Sunday as a family. I made mickey mouse pancakes this morning and took Kylie outside to play in the snow while Chris took a nap. She got really upset when she couldn't go scoop with daddy. The second to last picture is her praying hands which happens before meals and bedtime.

Art Museum

Kylie and I went to the Art Museum this morning. I discovered it's really challenging taking pictures of the artwork with no flash. Most of these were shot in manual mode with the aperture open for at least a second. It doesn't sound like much, but it's hard to hold a camera completely still for one second.

 

The first piece of artwork is dedicated to Jullio. It reminds me of Styrofoam balls glued to canvas with either spiderwebs or dust hanging off of them.

Tattered Cover

Kylie and I enjoyed lunch at Crave Burger which is supposedly one of the top 25 burger spots in the country (I still think Bud's is better). She was really well behaved and loved dipping her fries into the ketchup. After lunch we headed over to the Tattered Cover. Kylie ran straight to the kids table and didn't want to leave. There were a lot of cool spots to take pictures, antique chairs, pew benches, etc...however, Kylie wasn't in the mood. I also found out that they offer story time complete with snacks from Whole Foods every Friday at 6:30. It will be something to do when she's a little older. When we arrived home she called daddy and told him all about it!

Snow!

Kindermusic was canceled due to the snow so I bundled up Kylie and we ventured outside to play. She loved walking around the yard more than her sled ride.
