Photo Shoot

Kylie had a photo shoot 3 weeks ago and who would have guessed...
She lasted the entire 30 min shoot complete with an outfit change and lit up the room with her personality. I selected 10 photos last week, but here are two pics which made the photographer's blog.

Summer & Kylie's New Swing

I can't wait until summer is here! We've had temperatures in the 70's the past week which means we have spent a lot of time outside. Chris is in the midst of painting our house so Kylie and I try to stay busy taking walks, swinging & playing out in the breezeway. I took her to Confluence park by myself and she was SO GOOD! We walked around for 45 min before heading home. I was down there last weekend shopping for dance costumes and thought Kylie might enjoy it since there is lots of observation opportunities. Chris and I took her to the aquarium this morning and Kylie was more interested in people watching than the fish. While we were having a picnic downtown, Kylie discovered she loves grass, especially raking it with her fingers. I didn't get a picture of it but it just serves as another reminder to get our backyard completed ASAP!

Now the Kylie is mobile she especially likes playing with cords and anything that makes sound...such as the dog dishes. Not only are they loud when they hit the tile but the dogs think it's time to eat. She also discovered their water dish last Thursday but hasn't returned to try her other hand.

The video has error'd out several times so I will stick to pictures.

Two weeks ago I attempted to take photo of all of the cousins. I didn't think it would be that challenging if we took it early in the morning. Kylie is an early bird and usually wakes up between 4:30-5:30am regardless when she goes to bed. She was pleasant for the first two shots and then it went downhill from there. While her younger cousin, Cole (green shirt) was trying to calm her, Evan (blue shirt) did not like the high pitched screams coming his direction. Her are the highlights and mostly lowlights from that day.

Crawling

As of last Wednesday (3/7), Kylie started crawling. Everytime we put her down she is off & running. And we think we're tired now...
